    Theoretical part: description of the interaction of bees with the environment: their work as pollinators coupled with the work of the beekeeper we help to maintain the biodiversity of our environment. How bees are organized, how they take care of the, what benefits we get from them: honey, Pollen, Propolis, etc…

    Practical part: Optional: walk 15 minutes to beeper from the rendezvous point. Delivery for beekeeper and glove suit activity….. "In vivo" identification of bee castes (Obrera, Queen, drone); differentiation of honeycombs, breeding, pollen….. Identifying the beekeeper's tools; Smoker, hikesboxes, queen marker, etc.

    Meeting point: House of the culture of Braojos de la Sierra.

    Dates: 30 may; 13 and 27 June; 18 July; 12 and 19 September; 10 October.

    Duration: 4 hours approximately. 10 a.m.. 14 p.m.. (delaying the start time at 11 a.m.. if it's too cold so that there are adequate conditions for bees).

    It includes: Beekeeper's suit and gloves to perform the activity. Guided tour of the colmenar.

    Do not forget to: Bring comfortable clothes and socks, sports shoes (preferably boots), Sun cream, CAP and water.

    Other: Keep in mind that you can not access to the Apiary if you're allergic to bee stings. Bring your open mind to know the world of bees through the senses... hear the impressive hum of a hive, distinguish the bees that make it up: Queen, Obrera, drone.
