    Pinilla de Buitrago

Limited to the south by the Lozoya River and Riosequillo Reservoir we find Pinilla de Buitrago. This was an independent municipality until the mid-19th century, when he teamed up with Lozoya Choker to form a single municipality.

By joining the two peoples, this municipality has two parish churches. The Church of San Benito Abad in Gargantilla del Lozoya and the Church of the Holy Trinity in Pinilla de Buitrago. This church, Gothic style, it was founded in the 16th century and is a simple and peculiar example of mountain architecture.

Both towns of this municipality are linked through a path that runs near the Riosequillo reservoir.
