• Root -Education and Environmental Interpretation

    La Cabrera

    ROOT-Education and Environmental Interpretation is a self-employment project, with the dual objective of highlighting the cultural landscapes of the Sierra Norte in Madrid and a link with this territory. You can get to know the Sierra through interpretive and thematic paths (Ornithology, Botany, Ethnography...) We also offer:

    · "The roots of the landscape": Environmental Education Program for Schoolchildren (elementary to high school) based on didactic field outputs.

    · Formation: Environmental Education and Heritage Interpretation, natural and cultural, in particular the Sierra Norte.

    Activity 4 Path of the Genaro (complete or some stage)

    This Great Tour Trail (GR 300) that surrounds the Atazar reservoir and connects the river villages of the reservoir by traditional roads, livestock roads and service roads of the Elizabeth II Canal will take us into the landscape of this area.

    You can perform the whole path in stages or one of the stages of it since they have different degree of difficulty and natural and cultural values.

    Animals: If it's an ornithological path, animals are not allowed. In rest they can come as long as they are tied up and according to the guidelines of the guide, because in many areas there is extensive livestock.

    Accessibility: In addition to the "Senda for All" in Redueña accessible for people with reduced mobility, depending on the characteristics of the group or part of its members, you can offer a service tailored to skills and interests.
