Buitrago del Lozoya, much more than walls

Walls of Muslim origin and reformed by Christians, will move you to a story that saving the distances will envelop you as if you were living the scenes of “Game of Thrones”. We will enter Buitrago from the bridge to have an outside perspective of the village, inside we will visit the Church of Santa Maria del Castillo, Castle, the clock tower, The Wall and the Potro of Herrar. And of course, we'll tell you about Joan the Beltraneja, character who was heir to the Throne of Castile and who lived in Buitrago.

As usual, not only do we stay in the village, but we took the opportunity to get to know the outside. We will make part of the route of pinar de la Gariña, discovering thanks to the help of binoculars the birds that will accompany us on the route on the banks of the Lozoya River.

In addition, we will be able to visit the Picasso Museum and learn about the works that highlight the figure of the celebrated artist.
